The University’s 40,000 graduates are all members of the National Alumni Society, which has 20 chapters worldwide.

The University is located in Pennsylvania’s Pocono Northeast. Driving distance from New York City, Philadelphia, Trenton or Syracuse is approximately 125 miles. The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport is served by major airlines.

In the past six years alone, we've invested $72 million in campus facilities. A campus-wide voice, video and data network links virtually every room and building on campus and provides Internet access to the world. The City of Scranton, with a population of over 75,000 people, offers numerous internship and practicum sites as well as social and cultural opportunities, yet the city is small enough to provide an atmosphere conducive to learning.

The 486,700-volume Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Memorial Library is the leading academic library in northeastern Pennsylvania.  The Library is fully integrated into the University's campus-wide voice, video and data network, and offers such electronic resources as an online catalog, over 133 Internet Index/Databases, over 15,630 full-text journals, 24/7 chat reference, online request forms and document delivery.

Scranton sponsors 19 NCAA Division III (non-scholarship) athletic programs, 10 for men and nine for women. The University is affiliated with the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) and is a member of the Landmark Conference, which was formed in the winter of 2005 and began competition in the fall of 2007. As well, more than 3000 students participate each year in leagues, weekend special events and tournaments through the department of intramurals and recreational sports.
