Undergraduate Study toward a Bachelor’s Degree
Many talented people have been able to make great strides in their careers without the benefit of a bachelor’s degree. Yet they sense that further advancement may be difficult or impossible without one.
Perhaps you are an adult who has always wanted to attend college or someone who stopped attending due some life circumstance. The University of Scranton opens its doors to you. We recognize that going to college for the first time or returning as an adult can be daunting. We understand. We have been offering education for adult students since 1923. We know how to provide a nurturing environment for our adult students. At Scranton, you will have advisors and mentors who will guide your progress. When you have completed degree requirements, you will earn the same degree as traditional students.
For all B.A. and B.S. degree programs, at least 126 credits are required, representing a sound balance among the humanities, social sciences and specialized majors. The curricular requirements for each bachelor's degree are identical to that taken by students in the day divisions with the exception of physical education and Freshman Seminar credits.
