Employer-Assisted Tuition Deferment

Students with employer-assisted tuition benefits are eligible to receive deferred tuition billing to avoid out-of-pocket expenses at the beginning of the semester.

In order to be eligible for deferment of payment of tuition, a student must:

  1. Pay all tuition and fees not covered by employer at Registration.

  2. Payment must be received within 14 days after the release of grades.

NOTE: If you are a Graduating Senior, you must pay your balance in full before Graduation in order to receive your diploma.

  3. Complete all the required information on the "Application for Deferment of Tuition Payment for Students with Employer Tuition Plan" form and return to the University of Scranton Bursar's Office no later than one week after the first day of the semester or session.

  4. Provide a copy of the employer's policy upon request.

  5. A new form must be completed for each semester or session.

To request the "Application for Deferment of Tuition Payment for Students with Employer Tuition Plan" form, contact College of Graduate and Continuing Education at 941-7580.
