What are the admission requirements for The Scranton MBA at Hong Kong Center program?

Admission to Scranton MBA at Hong Kong Center program requires the following:

  1. Application for admission. To obtain an application, call +852 2770 6822, or click here.

  2. HK$320 application fee.

  3. Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited American college or university, or the equivalent from an international college or university. Applicants are required to submit official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities (Transcript Request). Admission requires an undergraduate GPA of at least 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale).

  4. Professional résumé indicating three or more years of managerial work experience.

  5. Three letters of reference, at least one of which must be from a supervisor.

  6. A written response to a business case to be judged on writing ability, critical-thinking potential, and attitudes toward ethics and social justice issues.

GMAT test scores are not required, but may be submitted as an additional credential to bolster an applicant's case for admission, or in lieu of the required three years of managerial experience. In some cases, the Admissions Committee may require an applicant to submit GMAT test scores based upon review of the application materials submitted.

International applicants from non-English speaking countries must provide proof of English proficiency by submitting TOEFL, STEP or IELTS scores.
