Sustaining Community Policing in Tough Economic Times

On Wednesday, April 13th 2011, The Sociology and Criminal Justice Department of The University of Scranton hosted Dr. George Kelling as a guest speaker in a lecture titled "Sustaining Community Policing in Tough Economic Times". Dr. Kelling is perhaps best known for his article in The Atlantic Magazine titled, "Broken Windows". He spoke to local law enforcement officials and ran a panel with four local police chiefs.
