SENIORS: Retirement of Computing Accounts
Your University of Scranton computing accounts (email, Angel, RoyalDrive, etc.) are scheduled to be retired in early September, 2013. All email and other files in your University computing accounts will be deleted and CANNOT be restored after this date. You should extract any important information from these accounts over the summer and save it to another location or media (such as a USB flash drive).
Please note, once your accounts are retired any email sent to your account will bounce back to the sender as undeliverable. Alumni of the University of Scranton have the option of setting up a permanent email forwarding address. For information on how to do this, please see the Online Community section of the Alumni web page at http://www.scranton.edu/alumni. It is your responsibility to inform your correspondents of your new email address!
If you are a graduating student who is continuing your education at the University of Scranton and you are enrolled in courses for the Fall 2012 semester, your accounts will not be retired.
