The University’s 31,000 graduates are all members of the National Alumni Society, which has 20 chapters worldwide.

The University is located in Pennsylvania’s Pocono Northeast. Driving distance from New York City, Philadelphia, Trenton or Syracuse is approximately 125 miles. The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport is served by major airlines.

We have added a new building to our 50-acre hillside campus each year since the mid-1980s. Brennan Hall, the new home of The Kania School of Management, was completed in the fall of 2000. We have also open a 141-bed townhouse development in September 2000. A campus-wide voice, video and data network links virtually every room and building on campus and provides Internet access to the world. The City of Scranton, with a population of over 70,000 people, offers numerous internship and practicum sites as well as social and cultural opportunities, yet the city is small enough to provide an atmosphere conducive to learning.

The 400,000-volume Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Memorial Library, the leading academic library in northeastern Pennsylvania, serves not only the University community but also is accessible to the card-holders of Lackawanna County’s public libraries.

Scranton fields NCAA Division III varsity teams in 10 sports for men and 9 sports for women. The University is affiliated with the Eastern College Athletic Conference, Middle Atlantic Conference and the Freedom League. In addition, more than 3,000 students each year participate in leagues, weekend special events and tournaments through the Intramural and Recreation Program.
