The Office of Public Relations administers the Identity Standards Guidelines of the University's trademark-protected marks, including its wordmark and seal. The Office also coordinates the University's public relations, publications, marketing, non-instructional facilities scheduling, special events planning and Information Reception Center, and has an important role in the development and maintenance of this Web site.

Information about the use of the University’s trademark-protected marks, a copy of the Identity Standards Manual and information about obtaining electronic files of the University's marks is available on the Identity Standards web page. You may choose to use a generic PowerPoint Presentation utilizing the University's marks (click and choose "save file").

Our media relations specialists serve as liaisons between the University and local and regional media. Current and past press releases may be viewed online on the News page.

A team of writers and graphic designers produces a variety of printed materials that tell the University's story to prospective and current students, alumni, friends and the general public. Among the publications produced by the Office of Public Relations are:

	The Scranton Journal, our magazine for alumni and friends;
	The Scranton Record, a monthly newspaper for the University and local communities; and
	Recruitment materials for prospective students.
