" For me, the medical alumni community represented the realization of my goals - men and women who had stood in my shoes and walked the path of the physician long before me. Simply speaking with them regularly was enough to instill in me the confidence that I could walk that path too."
Ed DelSole '09
“Scranton has a lot of good connections in New York, and that’s where I ultimately wanted to be.” Colleen Tuohy '09
Your Scranton Network
As a student at Scranton you have access to a network of over 43,000 alumni. You will find alumni across the country and the globe working in religious orders, medicine, law, education, business and entertainment. They are writers, CEOs, CFOs, doctors, nurses, lawyers, accountants, social workers, priests and nuns. Regardless of what they do and where they live, however, they remain Royals.
Here are some ways you can take advantage of your Scranton network:
Alumni Professional Groups
If you’re looking to meet alumni in a specialized field a great way to do so is by attending a dinner, lecture or discussion sponsored by one of the University's Professional Alumni Groups. Current groups include the Medical Alumni Council, Nursing Alumni Council, Council of Alumni Lawyers and Masters of Health Administration Council. The Alumni Online Community is a searchable database exclusively for Scranton alumni and students. Students are automatically given access to the database at the beginning of their junior year.
- Please read: Important information about student accounts in the Online Alumni Community.
Access to the Alumni Online Community is given automatically to all Scranton alumni, and students who have entered their junior year. Underclassmen, faculty and staff may request an account by contacting the Office of Alumni Relations at email@example.com.
