ROYALS PROSPECT CAMP FEATURES:

The Royals Prospect Camp is designed for the high school varsity player who has aspirations of playing college soccer. You will be playing in a setting which will allow the coaching staff to evaluate your ability to play at the college level.

Camp Location:

The Royals Prospect Camp is located on the campus of The University of Scranton in the city of Scranton, in the heart of Northeastern Pennsylvania. The campus sits at the center of the city of Scranton with easy access to I-81, I-84 and the Northeast extension of the PA turnpike. The city of Scranton is conveniently located within two of New York City, Philadelphia and Harrisburg.

Camp Schedule:

1 - 2 pm  - Camp Registration   8:00 - 9:00 am  - Breakfast
2:30 pm  - Camper Orientation   9:30 am  - 11v11 Games
3:00 pm  - Training   Noon  - Dismissal
5:30 - 6:30 pm  - Dinner      
7:30 pm  - 11v11 Games      
11:00 pm  - Lights Out!!      

Camp Cost:

Resident Camper: $100, includes housing meals and camp T-shirt

Day Camper: $75, does not include housing.

Limited Enrollment - Register Early to reserve a spot at the camp.

What to Bring:

  • Soccer Ball
  • Training Gear, including shin guards
  • Cleats, turf shoes, and sneakers.

Camp Director: Royals Head Coach, Matt Pivirotto

Matt Pivirotto, Head Men's Soccer Coach at The University of Scranton for the past eight seasons directs the soccer camp.

He has led the Royals' to three Freedom Conference playoff appearances, including appearances in the 2006 and 2007 Conference Championship.

Pivirotto put up some impressive credentials while a player at Lycoming College. He finished his four year career as the Warriors' all-timer leading scorer with 128 points. He earned All-Mid-Atlantic Conference four times and was the league's player of the year in 1997.

Matt has worked at numerous camps throughout the state, including elite player camps at Bucknell University and Lock Haven University.

Additionally, Matt has earned the NSCAA national, advanced national, and the level one goalkeeper license.
