Director: Keith Hetsko
Let The University of
Scranton men’s tennis team
develop your game.
In two seasons as head coach at The
University of Scranton, he has quickly established
the Royals as an up and coming program
in the highly regarded and competitive
Landmark Conference.
With a roster made up almost entirely of
freshmen, he led Scranton to five victories in
2007--more than twice the win output of the
previous season--and helped groom the game
of first-team all-Freedom Conference selection
Scott Melideo.
Hetsko joined the Royals’ coaching staff after
serving as men’s tennis coach at nearby
Marywood University from 1994 through
2006. He led the Pacers to Pennsylvania
Athletic Conference (PAC) championships in
1998 and 2006.
A certified United States Tennis Association
(USTA) official, Hetsko is a 1978 graduate of
Bloomsburg University with a degree in sociology.
He has served as an umpire for the
U.S. Open three times and many other professional
tournaments.
