ABOUT CMA
The Conference on Multicultural Affairs (CMA) Membership is a link of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) and was established October 1981 to ensure optimal access of Jesuit higher education for unique students who are often considered minorities in the Jesuit collegian environment. These students are comprised from a variety of diverse backgrounds.
The Goals of CMA:
Ensuring the access of African American, Asian American, Hispanic American, and Native American students pursuing Jesuit education.
Providing awareness of problems faced by those students and developing strategies to overcome associated problems.
Developing mechanisms by which ideas and relative information can be disseminated among Jesuit institutions.
Promoting the institutionalization of multicultural participation in planning policy formulation and policy implementation within Jesuit institutions.
Enhancing the quality of the educational experience for all students attending Jesuit institutions.
