U.S. News & World Report ranked several of The University of Scranton’s programs among “America’s Best Graduate Schools” in its 2014 guidebook, which became available online March 12. The printed version of the guidebook will be published Tuesday, April 9.

The University’s online graduate program in education ranked No. 6 in the nation. The University offers online a Master of Science degree in the education fields of curriculum and instruction and educational administration (K-12).

The University’s graduate programs ranked on the U.S. News website include rehabilitation counseling (30); healthcare management (46); occupational therapy (69); physical therapy (99); and nursing (193).

The University’s MBA program is also among  “America’s Best Graduate Schools 2014,” which includes a listing of institutions accredited by AACSB International, the most recognized and respected business school accrediting body. Only five percent of business degree-granting institutions in the world hold this prestigious accreditation, which The University of Scranton has maintained since 1995. All of the University’s graduate programs hold the highest national accreditation within each discipline.

For technology, recruitment and marketing support, the University partners with Bisk Education for online graduate education degree programs. The University also partners with Deltak for the online MBA degree programs.

In addition, the University has ranked among the top 10 “Best Regional Universities in the North” for 19 consecutive years in the U.S. News undergraduate guidebook. The 2013 edition of the guidebook also included Scranton in its list of just 49 “up and coming” colleges in the nation, as well as in a national listing of “stellar examples” of schools with “A Focus on Student Success.”
