University of Scranton Campus Ranked No. 2 in Pennsylvania, No. 30 in Nation

Niche.com published its 2015 Best Campus rankings of 943 colleges, which are based on 794,326 student opinion-based survey responds and other data. The University of Scranton’s campus ranked No. 30 in the United States and No. 2 in Pennsylvania.

The 2015 Best Campus rankings of 943 colleges, published by Niche.com, are based on student reviews (50 percent); a campus food grade (18 percent); a campus housing grade (17 percent) and a technology grade (15 percent). The grades for food, housing and technology incorporate statistical data collected from government and public sources, in addition to student survey data. Nationally, the University ranked No. 11 in campus housing, No. 20 in campus food, and No. 117 in technology.

According to Niche.com, a high-rank indicates that “students are very happy with the quality of campus resources and facilities and love their campus community.”

In addition to its numerical ranking, the University’s received a grade of “A+” in “Campus Quality” from Niche.com.

Niche.com published several other rankings in addition to the “Best Campus” listing, including an overall “Best Colleges” ranking of 892 colleges and universities category, for which the University ranked No. 227 in the nation. According to Niche.com, this ranking is based on 50 statistical data points and survey ratings by from 300,000 students from across the nation.
