Journalism Students Share Life Stories of West Scranton Residents

University of Scranton journalism students will present “Sharing Life Stories of West Scranton,” a multi-media project that includes interviews of older adults from West Scranton and historical research. The presentation will take place Sunday, May 3, at 2 p.m. at the West Side Active Adult Community Center, 1004 Jackson Street in Scranton.

The project was part of an advanced news writing class taught by Kimberly Pavlick, Ph.D., assistant professor of communication.

The project is supported in part by the Pennsylvania Humanities Council, the Federal-State Partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities.

The event is free and open to the public.
