IT Forum Discusses CyberSecurity and Social Media

The IT Forum on Tuesday, Oct. 16, will feature a presentation by Scott Finlon, PIR information security engineer, and will focus on cyberSecurity and social media. Finlon will discuss the threats we face as computer users at The University of Scranton, especially when we’re online. Tips will be given on how to protect our information and university data we use and have access to. A special emphasis will be on social media, and how we can stay safe while using programs like Facebook and Twitter.

The IT Forum begins at 11:30 a.m. Lunch will be served and prizes awarded. Register now for this important discussion on how to stay safe online and learn how we can protect ourselves from unauthorized access to our information.
