Professor Len Gougeon, Ph.D., Presents at Massachusetts Historical Society Event

On Jan. 19, Len Gougeon, Ph.D., of the Department of English and Theatre gave an invited presentation at the Massachusetts Historical Society in Boston. The society, founded in 1791, is the oldest historical society in America. Dr. Gougeon's presentation, "America's Second Revolution: New England, the British, and the Civil War," was based on his current research on relationships between American and British writers as they were impacted by the war.
