Baseball To Hold Annual Golf Tournament June 25

The University of Scranton baseball team will hold its annual golf tournament on Tuesday, June 25, at Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club in Mountain Top, Pa. The captain-and-crew tournament includes lunch, dinner, 18 holes of golf, gift and prizes, and begins with registration at 11 a.m.

Sebastianelli Named Scranton’s CASE Professor of the Year

The University of Scranton named Rose Sebastianelli, Ph.D., as its CASE Professor of the Year in recognition of her outstanding performance as a member of the faculty. Dr. Sebastianelli is a professor of operations and information management and the Alperin chair in business administration at the Kania School of Management (KSOM).

With a goal to increase employment, transition and independent living options for persons with disabilities, The University of Scranton will host its 12th Annual Northeastern U.S. Conference on disAbility on Wednesday, Oct. 2, in the Patrick and Margaret DeNaples Center on campus. The daylong conference, hosted by the University‘s Panuska College of Professional Studies with the support of the Edward R. Leahy, Jr. Endowment, is themed “Real Rehabilitation Renaissance: Ignited by Inspiration and Innovation.”

University Announces New $47.5 Million Rehabilitation Center

The University of Scranton announced today plans for an 111,500-square-foot, eight-story rehabilitation center to provide a state-of-the-art facility for undergraduate and graduate programs in the Departments of Exercise Science, Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy.
