University of Scranton Concert Band to Present Nov. 3 Concert

On Saturday, Nov. 3, The University of Scranton Concert Band, an 80-member ensemble comprised of members of the University community, will perform at 7:30 p.m. in the Houlihan-McLean Center.

The University of Scranton Concert Band will perform in concert on Saturday, Nov. 3, in the Houlihan-McLean Center, Mulberry Street and Jefferson Avenue. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m., and is free and open to the public. The program will include works by Jan Van der Roost, Dmitri Shostakovich, Sergei Rachmaninoff,  Malcolm Arnold, Alexander Borodin, Eric Whitacre, and William J. Weber. 

The University of Scranton Concert Band is an 80-member ensemble comprised of members of the University community, including undergraduate and graduate students, alumni, and members of the faculty and staff, who are brought together by a mutual love of music-making.
