Thanksgiving Food Drive Distributes Baskets to Those in Need

This year's annual Thanksgiving Food Drive, coordinated by the Center for Service and Social Justice, distributed approximately 150 food baskets to area families in need.

The Center for Service and Social Justice's annual Thanksgiving Food Drive, which celebrated its 10th anniversary this year, was a success yet again! The University came together to donate approximately 150 food baskets for area familes in need. The baskets were distributed to families through the “Feed a Friend” program at United Neighborhood Centers, the Leahy Center, and St. Clare’s food pantry in Scranton. Volunteers came together on Sunday, Nov. 18, to pack bags and deliver the meals. To view photos from the drive, click here.
