Downtown shops are offering a variety of discounts. View our new Show it, Save it List of businesses that offer a 10% discount and show your Royal Card.
Events this week include the Holiday Vendor Fair in the DeNaples Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6, the Lackawanna County Tree Lighting Ceremony also on Dec. 6 at 6 p.m., the First Friday art-walk with holiday-themed events on Friday, Dec. 7, and free Nutcracker performances at the Scranton Cultural Center on Dec. 7 and Sunday, Dec. 9. The Holiday Light Show at Nay Aug Park runs through December and volunteers are still needed from 5 to 7 p.m. or 7 to 9 p.m. each night.
