08/14 - Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania Co-sponsors "disAbility" Conference.

The Blue Ribbon Foundation of Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania presented a check for $5000 to The University of Scranton as co-sponsor of the first annual "disAbility" Conference, entitled "Enhancing Expectations, Empowering Opportunities, and Promoting Best Practices for School Age Students K-12." Sponsored by the Blue Ribbon Foundation and the university's Panuska College of Professional Studies and Edward R. Leahy, Jr. Center, the conference will feature nationally recognized experts and authors and will be held on the university's campus on September 20 and 21.
