Benefits, Eligibility, Submission Timelines and Obligations

If you are:
A High School Student
A College Student (or interested in Grad school)
In the Military
Or a high school student or college student that is interested in Nursing ( High School Student + Nurse or College Student + Nurse)
 

Scholarships for High School students

Types: 4-Year and 3-Year AD (Advanced Designee)
Benefits: Full tuition per year, $1,200 per year for books, plus Freshmen receive $3,000; Sophmores $3,500; Juniors $4,500; and Seniors receive $5,000 per year for expenses.  Room and board or similar benefit granted by several schools.
Eligibility: Must meet all basic requirements plus the following:
 920 SAT score or 19 ACT Score
Submission
Timelines:
Applications are submitted over the internet to Cadet Command by 10 January of the Senior Year.
Obligations:
In school: Attend Military Science Class, Leadership Lab, and Physical Training.  Attend Leadership Development Assesment Camp.
After graduation: 4 years on active duty as a commissioned officer, followed by four years in the National Guard, Reserves, or Individual Ready Reserves

Scholarships for College students (grad/undergrad)
(Campus-Based Scholarship Program)
Types: 3-Year, 2-Year, and 2-Year GRFD (Guaranteed Reserve Forces Duty)
Benefits: Full tuition per year, $1,200 per year for books, plus Freshmen receive $3,000; Sophmores $3,500; Juniors $4,500; and Seniors receive $5,000 per year for expenses.
Eligibility: Must meet all basic requirements plus the following:
All types Have a 2.5 cumulative GPA before the scholarship period begins.
2-Year, 2-Year GRFD): Complete sophomore year before scholarship period begins.
3-Year: Complete freshman year before scholarship period begins.
Submission
Timelines:
Applications are due to the ROTC Office by 1 Feb each year.
Obligations:
In School: Attend Military Science Class, Leadership Lab, and Physical Training.  Attend Leadership Development Assesment Camp.
After graduation:
2- and 3-Year 4 years on active duty as a commissioned officer, followed by four years in the National Guard, Reserves, or Individual Ready Reserves
GRFD 8 years in the Guard or Reserves

Scholarships for Military Personnel
(Green-to-Gold Scholarship Program)
Types: 2-, 3-, and 4-Year
Benefits: Full tuition per year, $1,200 per year for books, plus Freshmen receive $3,000; Sophmores $3,500; Juniors $4,500; and Seniors receive $5,000 per year for expenses.
Eligibility: Must meet all basic requirements plus the following:

Scholarships for High School students interested in Nursing.
