MUSTANGS’ McGEE SELECTS SCRANTON
Joe Bochicchio, head women’s soccer coach at The University of Scranton, has announced
that Chelsea McGee (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield) will join the Royals for the upcoming 2002
season.
McGee, a forward/midfielder, was a member of a Mustang team that posted a 35-7 record
the last two seasons under head coach Todd Plourde.
Chelsea is the daughter of Joseph and Linda McGree of Merton Street in Fairfield.
The University of Scranton won the Freedom Conference title for the third straight year and
advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division III championships en route to a 17-4-1
overall record last year. The Royals will open the 2002 season on Friday and Saturday,
August 30-31, by hosting Western Connecticut, Moravian and Eastern in the LPL
