Up to this point, you’ve been doing the selecting. Now it is time to apply.

Applying to your top choices can be a nerve-wracking time as all of your application materials are reviewed by admissions counselors. Working hard in high school and diligently completing all application materials will give you the confidence that you did the very best you could.

Don’t shy away just because you hear that a particular college is difficult to get into. Investigate a college’s admissions criteria, and be honest about your credentials. Rank the colleges you are applying to, and understand which will be your "reach" schools.
