An Accounting major of the class of 2014, Jim Dembesky is a Junior Senator and Chair of the Appropriations Committee. A product of Dickson City, PA, Jim graduated from Mid Valley High School where he served four years acting as an officer on Student Council.  Jim is an active member of the Scranton Community. During 2011, he served as Commuter Senator on student government. He is a member of The Society of Accounting Students, a work study student in the Office of Career Services and a participant in intramural sports. Jim clearly exercises his love for all of the services that the University of Scranton has to offer. Jim, being an experienced commuter for a year and an off campus resident for a year, has many ideas and innovations to bring forth to improve the university.  With open ears, Jim Dembesky will be listening to all suggestions, from junior students and the whole campus community.
