Email to Students Regarding Housing Lottery Information and Process (Fall 2012)
Dear students:
The Office of Residence Life is preparing for the Housing Lottery. The Housing Lottery is the online process used by Residence Life to enable current resident students to select housing for the next academic year. The below information is an overview of the lottery process. Please see lottery information sessions times below and plan to attend one for more detailed information.
It is very important to note that current and eligable sophomores, juniors, and seniors must have paid a $200.00 non-refundable housing deposit by 4:00pm on January 9, 2012 in order to be included in the Pool A Lottery. This deposit will be applied to student accounts in July of 2012, Students who paid the deposit after the deadline will have limited available housing options.
Current resident freshmen, who currently live on campus, are required to reside on campus as sophomores and therefore do not have to pay a housing deposit. Current Residential freshmen will automatically be placed in the sophomore lottery.
Students who have returned from Study Abroad, who have not previously lived off campus, and new transfer students have until February 29th 2012 by 4pm to pay their $200 non-refundable housing deposit to be included in the Pool A Lottery.
Students are responsible to check that their deposit has been received and they have been placed in the appropriate pool. To verify your deposit and pool, please do the following:
