Governance

Faculty Senate

The Panuska College of Professional Studies encourages faculty, students, staff and administration to exercise its responsibilities in the governance of the academic life of the College.

As a College shaped by the distinctive perspectives of the Jesuit Catholic mission and Ignatian pedagogy, PCPS's governance processes are open and participatory.

The Academic Senate is the principal instrument through which the faculty of the College exercises its responsibilities in the governance of the academic life of the College community. See the Faculty Handbook for the complete description of the Faculty Senate.

Faculty Committees

In addition to the Faculty Senate, there are a number of other committees handling PCPS governance on issues such as PCPS curriculum, advising, assessment, field experiences, service learning, etc. Refer to the Academic Policy Handbook for further information.
