Peacemakers is a FREE 6-week after school program held in the Leahy Community Health and Family Center at The University of Scranton on Friday afternoons, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. during the Spring semester (months of April and May) and Fall semester (months of October and November).

The program is facilitated by Gerri Barber and University of Scranton Mentors, for children between the ages of 9 and 13.

The program is divided into 6 segments with a snack, activities centered around a theme, active imagination exercise, journal writing, and a take-home letter to parents.

The goal is for students to experience and explore the meaning, history, and vision of peacemaking and develop the skills necessary to carry their experiences and learning into the future.
