Students with Pope

The Office of Campus Ministries

Campus Ministries serves the mission of The University of Scranton by making visible and effective our Roman Catholic and Jesuit identity with a spirit of inclusivity of all religious traditions. Inspired by the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the charism of St. Ignatius Loyola, we offer students opportunities to become women and men for and with others. These opportunities include ways for students to explore their relationship with God, express their faith in reflective service, work toward the transformation of unjust societal structures, and be immersed in cultures and experiences in developing countries of our world.

The Spiritual Formation Programs offered by Campus Ministries seek to inspire and instill in students a love for themselves, others, and God as they integrate adult faith formation into lives of service for others.

Campus Ministries' Center for Service and Social Justice provides transformative experiences through service opportunities both locally and across the nation. Programs rooted in Catholic Social Teaching that help inform the individual conscience challenge students to work toward changing unjust societal structures.

Campus Ministries'  International Service Program offers students the opportunity to live the Jesuit ideal of being reflective men and women for and with others as they complete service in South and Central America. In this way, ISP students experience the global, engaged, and integrated education of The University of Scranton.
