Run Around Scranton, Stirna's Restaurant, June 20

Marrow for Mari, Boys & Girls Clubs of NEPA, June 20
Boys & Girls Clubs of NEPA Hosts “Marrow for Mari”… to find a bone marrow match for Mari (Lutz) Delicati. June 20 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Clubs of NEPA located at 609 Ash Street, Scranton. Participants, ages 18-50, can attend the drive and register with the Be The Match Registry to save a life. Just a simple swab of the cheek, and is free. Basket raffles/bake sale. National Trout Unlimited River Clean-up Day, Elm Street, June 22
Volunteers are needed (great community service project) for cleaning the section of the river adjacent to the Native American Statue on the new section of the LHV Trail and Elm Street in Scranton. Gloves and garbage bags will be supplied. Dedication of a new park bench on the trail. 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. For more information, contact Charlie at 570-586-3363 or Owen at 570-963-6730.
Nay Aug Park Sunday Concerts, Nay Aug Park Bandstand, June 23
Annual Summer Concert Series. Held in the Bandstand across from the Everhart Museum and Geisinger CMC Hospital, June 23, listen to the Bill Arnold Quartet at 2 p.m. The concerts are always free! For a complete schedule, click here.
West Side Farmers Market, Allen Park, June 25
Located at Allen Park, Main Avenue and Price Street, weather permitting from 4 p.m. until dusk. Farmers Market will continue every Tuesday at 4 p.m. until September 24.
Shakespeare Festival, Nay Aug Park, June 27-30
Scranton Shakespeare Festival is proud to announce the second annual offering of the Festival's free, outdoor production of Comedy of Errors. The production is updated, fun and great for the entire family. All performances are FREE. Bring blankets or chairs and a picnic lunch! Sacred Music, Sacred Dance, Scranton Cultural Center, July 19
Singers and Dancers of the L'oseling Monastery. Titled "Sacred Music, Sacred Dance," the event will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 19th at the Scranton Cultural Center.
