Since 1972, 134 graduates of The University of Scranton have earned a Fulbright or other international fellowship award to support a year of study outside of the United States.
These highly competitive grants are awarded on the basis of academic merit and professional promise. For five consecutive years, The University of Scranton has been ranked as one of the nation's Top Producers of Fulbright Students by The Chronicle of Higher Education. In 2009, Scranton tied for second place among Master's Institutions in the nation for producing Fulbright fellowships.
