From my experience working in the Development Office as the Stewardship and Marketing Intern, I have witnessed the generosity and unending support of the university community and how their philanthropy has improved the Scranton experience of each student, including myself.
I am a senior Communication major with a track in Public Relations. I have been working at the Royal Fund for the past two years, and I am blessed with all of the wonderful opportunities the position has presented me. I have gained so much practical knowledge from my internship, but this does not even compare to my new understanding of the world of non-profit fundraising and philanthropy.
The unending support of donors to Scranton inspires me to be the best student I can be every day. Students on this campus can feel the strong pride of alumni, parents and friends who want to see the university and its students continue to prosper.
